Job Description Supervise and coordinate the work activities of hourly production employees to ensure quality and production goals are met. Provide daily defect feedback to production employees and management, ensuring transparency and timely corrective action. Interpret, communicate, and enforce company policies and safety regulations. Establish and adjust manpower to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Maintain accurate time and production records. Administer disciplinary action as needed, in alignment with company policies and the collective bargaining agreement. Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications; assist in problem resolution and general maintenance of machinery as needed. Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Set up and oversee containment activities when required. Communicate shop floor problems and defects to appropriate personnel responsible for root cause analysis and corrective action. Develop and execute inspection and testing schedules for new launches. Ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement. Perform additional duties as assigned. Support the achievement of quality and management objectives by ensuring compliance with quality policies, procedures, and processes. Initiate actions to prevent nonconformance related to product, processes, and quality systems. Identify and document any issues related to the product, process, or quality system. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until deficiencies are corrected.
