KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements. Manage absentee coverage. Provide on-the-job training to employees. Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization. Maintain an accurate record of all production activities. Evaluate team performance. Interact with other departments when necessary to ensure proper system function. Comply with all safety standards and regulations. Provide preventative maintenance. Initiate new job start-ups when required. Effectively manage scrap control and reduction. Engage in plan development and implementation. Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks. Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.
REQUIREMENTS
HS diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business administration or management preferred. Three years of production supervisory experience. Must be open and available to work off shifts. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel. Flexible Schedule and ability to work overtime when needed. Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance and thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of all duties.
