Overview Lead Asphalt Operations as an Asphalt Plant Supervisor with Suncore Construction & Materials! Are you an experienced leader with a passion for safety, production, and team development? Suncore is seeking an Asphalt Plant Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure quality asphalt production. Things You'll Do Lead and develop plant personnel while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Coordinate daily asphalt production with paving operations, quality control, trucking, and management. Ensure asphalt mixes are produced safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Monitor plant performance, production rates, equipment reliability, and operating efficiency. Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and plant shutdowns. Troubleshoot production, mechanical, electrical, and material flow issues. Maintain inventory levels for aggregates, RAP, liquid asphalt, fuel, and other production materials. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements. Train employees, support cross-training efforts, and build depth within the crew. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. Communicate production status, equipment needs, and operational risks to management. Requirements 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in asphalt. 4+ years of experience in asphalt plants, aggregate production, paving, construction materials, or related industries. Working knowledge of asphalt plant operations and production processes. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, quality, and continuous improvement. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts as needed.
