Job Description
Overview The Production Supervisor will be responsible for creating production schedules, oversee production process and ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to. In this position, the Production Supervisor will utilize his/her experience, leadership and communication skills to direct team members. One must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines to produce quality products safely and cost-effectively while preserving a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service. Production Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring maximum uptime on all equipment in the production space. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff on the factory floor to meet daily production goals. Oversee a workforce of 30+ employees on the production floor. Coordinate with leadership team to develop project plan and timelines. Work with operations team to plan, schedule and perform production activities. Assign daily workload to team members. Anticipate bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved. Suggest process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity. Organize job training to team members to achieve production goals. Investigate production issues and develop resolutions. Schedule equipment maintenance and inspections on regular basis. Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery. Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines. Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees. Collect and report data to feed into operational KPIs. Experience Bachelor's degree or will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role. Self-motivated, self-starter with personable and extroverted personality. Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment. Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group. Excellent communication, organizational, follow through and interpersonal skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.). Experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis. Strong attention to detail. Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills. Aptitude for comprehending technical information. Prior experience working with assembly processes, factory equipment, and troubleshooting mechanical issues is preferred. Pay:
