Assistant Supervisor - Production (UV Print & Rotary) Position Summary The Production departments at PersonalizationMall.com create personalized gifts for our customers. The Assistant Supervisor supports the Department Supervisor in overseeing daily operations within a fast-paced production warehouse environment, helping ensure products are completed consistently, efficiently, and according to established quality and customer service standards. This role provides hands-on leadership to production staff, monitors workflow and department performance, supports training and staffing needs, and helps maintain a safe, productive, and positive work environment. We currently have Assistant Supervisor opportunities available within our UV Print and Rotary Departments . Candidates will be considered for a specific department based on their experience, qualifications, and current business needs. Shift 1st
Shift:
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Peak season schedule may vary based on business needs. Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes during peak periods is required. Pay Range $19.00 - $23.00 per hour Core Duties & Responsibilities Monitor daily department efficiency using reports, calculations, administrative data, and production tracking information Monitor order backlog and workflow throughout the shift, with particular attention to express and priority orders Inspect and distribute picked materials to production lines and personnel Guide and support POCs and production staff to meet required productivity and output levels Support the Department Supervisor in coordinating daily workflow, staffing, and production priorities Assist with training, onboarding, and development of new and existing team members Assist with staffing adjustments based on production and workflow needs Operate department-specific production equipment as required Ensure equipment settings are accurate and appropriate for current production needs Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with diagnosing and resolving basic equipment issues Identify and report safety concerns, policy violations, quality issues, and operational concerns to the Department Supervisor Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to improve productivity, workflow, and department efficiency Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment Promote teamwork, accountability, positive morale, and high-performance expectations Demonstrate strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability while reinforcing these expectations within the team Perform additional department-specific duties as assigned by the Supervisor Skills & Qualifications Strong training and facilitation skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills Ability to provide direction and support to production staff Ability to delegate, prioritize, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced production environment Understanding of production lines, workflow, and equipment capacities Ability to identify and recommend process improvements Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment Energetic, motivating, and team-oriented approach to leadership Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn and grow with the company English reading and speaking proficiency required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Education & Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 8+ hours Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production warehouse environment Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes during peak periods Department Opportunities UV Print Department The Assistant Supervisor - UV Print supports daily production operations involving personalized products created using UV printing technology. This position works closely with the Department Supervisor and production team to maintain workflow, productivity, equipment performance, and product quality while supporting training and staffing needs. Department Focus Support daily UV Print production workflow and priorities Assist with monitoring large-format UV printing equipment and production processes Help ensure equipment settings and production requirements are accurate Monitor print quality, alignment, and overall product accuracy Support associates with proper equipment operation and established production procedures Assist with training new and existing UV Print team members Identify basic equipment, workflow, or quality issues and assist with resolution or escalation Help maintain productivity and efficiency while meeting customer quality expectations Rotary Department The Assistant Supervisor - Rotary supports daily production operations involving personalized products created using rotary engraving equipment and processes. This position works closely with the Department Supervisor and production team to maintain workflow, productivity, equipment performance, product quality, and staffing while ensuring customer orders meet established production standards. Department Focus Support daily Rotary production workflow and priorities Assist with monitoring rotary engraving equipment and production processes Help ensure equipment settings are accurate and aligned with current production requirements Monitor engraving quality and overall product accuracy Support associates with proper equipment operation and established department procedures Assist with training new and existing Rotary team members Identify basic equipment, workflow, or quality issues and assist with resolution or escalation Help maintain productivity and efficiency while meeting customer quality expectations The expected salary range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 hourly . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
