Traveling Field Operations Compensation:

$28.75-$39.15 per hour About the position Diamond Property Consulting is seeking an experienced, driven Foreman to lead field operations on renovation and property-maintenance projects. This role supervises painters, carpenters, laborers, and other field personnel; keeps production on schedule; protects quality standards; and ensures crews work efficiently and safely. The Foreman is a key field leader and the direct link between crew members and project management. This is a traveling position requiring frequent assignments at job sites across multiple cities and states, including overnight and extended stays when needed. Diamond Property Consulting, Inc. is a nationwide general contracting firm specializing in interior renovations and property maintenance for multifamily, senior living, and student housing communities. With a team of more than 150 skilled tradespeople, Diamond has completed more than 6,000 unit renovations in the past 24 months and currently services a portfolio of more than 5,000 units nationwide. Primary responsibilities Supervise, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of field personnel across multiple trades Plan daily production, assign work, monitor crew performance, and keep projects on schedule and aligned with production targets Conduct pre-walks, punch walks, field walkthroughs, and quality-control inspections Maintain Diamond's quality standards across all work in progress and completed deliverables Communicate daily progress, staffing needs, delays, risks, and field updates to the Project Manager or Superintendent Manage attendance, job performance, coaching, accountability, and routine conflict resolution for assigned employees Order and track material deliveries, tools, consumables, and site inventory to support uninterrupted production Maintain accurate daily logs, timesheets, progress reports, completion records, and supporting jobsite documentation Use Buildertrend or other assigned project-management software for schedules, logs, photos, tasks, and status updates Collaborate with project leadership, property teams, residents, vendors, and other trades to resolve jobsite challenges Enforce company safety policies, jobsite rules, and applicable OSHA-compliant work practices Maintain a professional, organized, and clean jobsite and ensure crews protect occupied and finished areas Travel to assigned job sites, including out-of-state projects, and remain on site as project needs require Required qualifications Minimum five years of supervisory experience in construction; seven years preferred Strong knowledge of renovation scopes, including carpentry, painting, flooring, unit turns, make-ready work, and punch-out Proven leadership, team-management, coaching, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills Proficiency in performing and managing field walkthroughs, quality checks, punch lists, and completion verification Experience using project-management tools; Buildertrend experience is preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including drafting documents, sending professional emails, and creating basic spreadsheets Strong documentation, organization, scheduling, problem-solving, and professional communication skills Fluency in Spanish sufficient to communicate effectively with diverse field crews Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability and willingness to travel frequently, work across multiple states, and stay on site when needed Leadership & work requirements Ability to lead by example, make sound field decisions, hold team members accountable, and escalate significant issues promptly Ability to move throughout active renovation sites, use stairs and ladders, and inspect work in occupied, vacant, and partially completed units Ability to work in environments that may include dust, noise, temperature changes, and typical construction activity Ability to use required personal protective equipment and ensure assigned crews comply with all safety expectations Flexibility to work schedules that may vary based on deadlines, property access, staffing, and project demands Benefits Medical, vision, and dental insurance Paid time off (PTO) and sick days Company-provided housing and meals during qualifying travel assignments Diamond Property Consulting is an equal opportunity employer.
