This position is responsible for ensuring products are filled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FDA Cosmetic GMPs, ISO 22716, customer requirements, and company quality standards. The Filling Supervisor provides direct leadership to Filling Leads and Production Associates while driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. This role is accountable for achieving production targets, maximizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring Right First Time (RFT) execution. Duties Lead daily filling operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements. Supervise, train, coach, and develop filling line employees to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance. Ensure products are filled according to approved batch records, specifications, SOPs, GMPs, and work instructions. Coordinate staffing, line assignments, changeovers, line clearances, cleaning, sanitation, and equipment readiness. Monitor line performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive improvements in productivity, quality, downtime, and waste reduction. Partner with Compounding, Packaging, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning to support smooth production flow. Verify accurate completion of production documentation, batch records, lot traceability, and Good Documentation Practices. Maintain compliance with FDA Cosmetic GMPs, ISO 22716, OSHA requirements, and company policies. Support audits, investigations, CAPAs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment through PPE compliance, safe work practices, and 5S standards. Track and improve key performance metrics, including OEE, schedule attainment, RFT, yield, labor efficiency, downtime, scrap/rework, inventory accuracy, and safety performance. Qualifications Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with hands-on filing exposure, minimum 5 years. High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical training preferred. Experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred. 1-2 years of demonstrated ability to manage production teams effectively while fostering teamwork and accountability Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and risk mitigation strategies, experience in handling raw chemicals, reading safety data sheets (SDS) and enforcing strict PPE. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary Understanding of PPLH, OOE, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, yield, downtime, and quality metrics. Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred. Computer proficiency required, Microsoft Office, SAP or ERP experience preferred.
