Our client delivers high-quality custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electronic connections in a fast-paced, agile manufacturing environment where precision and reliability drive every build. Position Overview We are seeking a proactive Quality Supervisor to lead quality compliance and team execution on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will bridge the gap between production teams, customer expectations, and

ISO 9001

standards. You will oversee daily quality operations, manage root-cause investigations, serve as a main point of contact for customer inquiries, and drive continuous improvement across assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities Team & Floor Leadership:

Supervise and mentor floor technicians, oversee first-piece sign-offs, and enforce visual acceptance criteria to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.

Customer Quality & CAPA:

Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer quality inquiries. Investigate returned materials (RMA), lead root-cause analysis, and author formal Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA/8D) reports.

QMS & Audit Oversight:

Maintain and continuously improve the

ISO 9001

Quality Management System. Lead internal audit schedules, prepare documentation for third-party registrar audits, and report key performance metrics to management.

Inspection & Data Analysis:

Oversee visual, mechanical, and wiring compliance for wire harnesses and cable assemblies against customer blueprints and schematics. Track defect trends, scrap rates, and first-pass yield metrics to launch floor-level improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with production managers and engineering teams to standardize quality procedures, resolve non-conformances, and elevate shop-floor efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

3-5+ years of quality engineering, quality supervision, or lead inspection experience in manufacturing (wire harness, cable assembly, or electronics experience required).

Technical Standards:

Working knowledge of

IPC/WHMA-A-620

standards (certification preferred). Ability to read complex engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, and BOMs.

Auditing:

Solid understanding of

ISO 9001 QMS

maintenance, process mapping, and internal/external auditing procedures.

Customer & Problem-Solving Skills:

Direct experience engaging with customer quality teams, resolving non-conformances, and utilizing formal root-cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).

Systems & Communication:

Proficiency with ERP/QMS software and data tracking, paired with strong communication skills and a decisive, leadership-oriented mindset.

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
