Job Description

Job Summary Salary:
Starting at $80-90K.
Overnight Shift Differential:
$153.85 bi-weekly This position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities Responsible for the packaging department's operation including multiple packaging lines, tray-forming area, material handling, WIP storage area, reconciliation and label control functions. Responsible for meeting department efficiency & productivity goals while ensuring all quality and cGMP standards are met. Responsible for enforcing departmental and plant policies, including attendance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Supervise group leaders and hourly staff in proper operating techniques and procedures Coordinate all aspects of shift operations including schedule changes and quality issues Interact with other departments such as Materials Management, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Serialization, and Filling to achieve department goals Supervise, coordinate, and control packaging and operating activities to ensure optimum utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment. Develop department employees through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, evaluating employee performance, communication of rules and policies all while building employee morale and motivation Responsible for the training of all employees on the shift to ensure quality standards, cGMP's, and productivity goals are met Monitor and control production schedules and activities to ensure the meeting of departmental performance objectives and budgets Assures all safety policies are followed in the department Responsible for maintaining a safe, hazard-free work environment and conduct safety meetings Assure all company policies and procedures are followed and disciplinary actions are taken as necessary Write deviations, discrepancies, efficiency reports, training reports, and any other required documentation Review all batch records to confirm that products are produced per the procedures and batch records are completed right the first time Trouble shooting any processing, equipment, and utilities problems Define corrective/preventative action measures in response to internal, regulatory, and customer audit requirements as well as deviation investigations Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs, and activities related to health, safety, environment, energy, and quality management systems, as per your roles and responsibilities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience in related field Pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred Equipment troubleshooting experience including manual, mechanical, and electrical Engineering experience strongly preferred Additional Information We offer an excellent salary and benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as life insurance, disability, 401K with company contribution, and wellness program.
