Position Summary:
The Processing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring allduties within the Processing Department are performedaccurately, thoroughly, and safely, in alignment with CarlBuddig and Company standards and job requirements.

This role oversees daily production operations andensures compliance with all company policies, foodsafety regulations, and USDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct daily processing operationsto ensure production goals, efficiency targets, and quality standards are achieved. Ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with USDA regulations, food safetystandards, and company policies. Enforce all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, direction, and corrective action as necessary Ensure proper staffing, line assignments, and workflow efficiency to meet production schedules. Identify and address operational issues in real time to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Promptly report all safety, quality, and food safety concerns and ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated. Lead or support incident reporting and investigations, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company procedures. Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to support operational effectiveness. Ensure accurate documentation of production, safety, and compliance activities. Maintain clear and effective communication with employees and leadership regarding daily operations and issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or an equivalent GED; 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires 3-5 years of manufacturing, high speed packaging, or food manufacturing experience. Requires a minimum of two - five years successful leadership experience, with a proven track record of positive interaction and follow through with different level of the company. Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and perform metric conversions. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact with and provide work direction to employees. Must be certified in forklift operation. Ability to use other industrial equipment as needed. Must be trained as an Authorized employee under LOTO. Proven Competency in the following areas Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, and Dealing with Complexity. Demonstrated ability to effectively use office systems, communication, and software tools currently used in the OWM office environment.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform physical requirements of job as needed (i.e. bending, stooping, squatting, walking, reaching, pulling, pushing, crouching, standing, sitting). Ability to work in cold environments, including temperatures of 40F or below. Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed, including weekends and extended shifts Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-speed processing environment. Must be able to work extended hours (9+ hours per day) as required to meet production demands. Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practic es (GMPs). Pay range for this position is \$65,000 to \$80,000 depending on experience. There is also a potential for a discretionary bonus this bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
