About the Role As a CNC Manufacturing Lead, you will spearhead production operations, ensuring that our machining workflows are both efficient and safe. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance culture, mentoring technical staff, and driving consistent output quality across our facility. Responsibilities Direct daily production workflows to ensure manufacturing targets and business objectives are achieved. Cultivate a collaborative team environment by providing leadership and technical guidance to machinists and shop personnel. Develop and enforce rigorous safety protocols, including the creation of standardized operating procedures and comprehensive training programs. Optimize CNC machining processes for steel components to ensure strict adherence to engineering specifications. Coordinate with cross-functional leadership to align shop floor activities with broader organizational goals. Manage the operation of heavy machinery, including forklifts and overhead cranes, while maintaining accurate production documentation. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting. At least 5 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience within a production environment. Technical proficiency in steel machining and CNC programming. Ability to obtain internal certifications for heavy equipment operation. Physical capability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or manufacturing field. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, onboarding, and professional development of shop staff. Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
