Job Summary:
A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor. This role is responsible for directing a team of production employees, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality and safety standards, and meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign, plan, and manage daily work schedules to meet production targets
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff
- Maximize equipment efficiency and reduce operational downtime through proactive monitoring
- Troubleshoot equipment, machine programming, and production issues as they arise
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production output
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met; address issues promptly
- Enforce all safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections
- Coordinate inventory and material needs to maintain smooth production flow
- Track production metrics and prepare required daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience operating or supervising CNC machines, panel benders, turret presses, press brakes, or other technical manufacturing equipment strongly preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting machine programming and production equipment issues
- Degree in Business Administration or 5-10 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes strongly preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the production floor for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and a fast-paced setting
Compensation:
$60,000-$65,000/annually
