Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for Supervision and coordination of production team members. 12 Hour Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am
In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To:
Assure a safe working environment for all employees. Plans work for the shift operation and assigns work to production related operators. Assists in the selection and hiring process for new employees Train new employees Monitor quality, productivity, and scrap. Manage machine down time Administers company policies. Responsible for accurate accounting of employees worked hours for payroll purposes. Must be able to provide good leadership and set an example regarding safety, quality, and efficiency. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications Interprets company policies for workers, enforces safety regulations Analyzes and resolves work problems, settles disputes, and assists workers in solving work problems. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew Provides direct and honest communication with employees Maintains floor cleanliness standard
Requirements:
Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write reports, procedures, and present to diverse audiences. Able to interpret technical materials, regulations, and business publications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to interpret written, verbal, and visual instructions and adapt to non-standard situations. Solid understanding of statistics, geometry, and applied math (fractions, ratios, percentages). Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC use. Forklift certification required. Strong multitasking and conflict resolution abilities. Education & Experience High school diploma, GED, or Associate's degree. 3-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between departments regularly. Fine motor skills, visual focus, hearing, and driving ability required. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
