Job Description
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company's manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This role manages staffing, training, scheduling, and performance of manufacturing personnel, while overseeing the production processes and equipment maintenance. The Manufacturing Supervisor plays a key role in improving operational efficiency across production, quality control, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, train, coach, and evaluate an integrated team of production, assembly, and packaging employees to maintain a safe, productive, and effective workforce. Allocate labor and resources to meet production schedules and operational goals. Coordinate and communicate with internal departments regarding customer requirements and order fulfillment. Review production schedules, work orders, and inventory levels to ensure material requirements are met. Monitor product standards, manufacturing processes, machinery, raw materials, and personnel to ensure finished products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. Manage project timelines to ensure on-time completion of orders. Develop, recommend, and implement manufacturing strategies and goals to support future product development and innovation. Maintain current knowledge of production methods, manufacturing technologies, and production management best practices. Establish, communicate, and reinforce departmental goals and objectives while actively supporting the continued development of team members. Perform additional duties as assigned throughout the course of employment. Required Competencies Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Leadership, or a technical field preferred. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a regulated or ISO-certified industry preferred; medical device manufacturing experience is a plus. Minimum of two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word). Prior experience with manufacturing systems such as ERP preferred.
