About the
Role:
The Teamleader, Production Night (Bilingual - Production Supervisor) plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the night shift production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for leading a diverse team, coordinating workflow, and maintaining production schedules to meet organizational goals. The role requires bilingual communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders from varied linguistic backgrounds, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. The Teamleader will also monitor performance metrics, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Ultimately, this position drives operational excellence during night shifts, contributing significantly to the overall success of the production facility in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred. Proven experience in a production supervisory or team leader role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and a second language relevant to the workforce (e.g., Spanish). Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Ability to work night shifts and manage a team during overnight hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with production management software and data analysis tools. Previous experience working in a bilingual supervisory role within a diverse workforce. Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) or equivalent safety training.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the night shift production team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Communicate effectively in both English and the second language to coordinate tasks, provide clear instructions, and resolve issues promptly. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to optimize workflow. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance and quality assurance to support seamless production operations. Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and provide coaching to develop team members skills and productivity. Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on shift performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

The required bilingual communication skills enable the Teamleader to effectively bridge language gaps, ensuring clear and precise instructions are conveyed to all team members, which is essential for maintaining productivity and safety during night shifts. Leadership and interpersonal skills are utilized daily to motivate the team, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and accountability. Analytical skills are applied to monitor production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards is critical to enforce compliance and prevent workplace incidents. Additionally, proficiency with production management tools supports accurate tracking of performance data and streamlines reporting processes, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Will be frequently exposed to cool and wet conditions. Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds and be able to work around raw beef, chicken or other similar raw materials and odors.
