Squire Boone Village is a locally owned, nationally renowned manufacturer of crystal rock candy, souvenirs, and gifts who supplies well-known tourist attractions and accounts throughout the United States. The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production and assembly employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. Maintain production settings, organize work flow; record usage, inventory and quantity produced each day. The production shift is Monday thru Friday 6am to 2:30pm. Supervisor's schedule starts up to 30 minutes before and ends 30 minutes after shift to open and close the assigned department (up to 5 hours of OT per week). Duties/Responsibilities:

Trains, oversees, and manages production employees. Oversees the daily workflow of the shift. Provides constructive and timely performance coaching and evaluations. Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations. Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment. Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and stored correctly. Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery. Excellent leadership and communication skills--- you are able to delegate and use positive reinforcement to lead a team to hit goals that are realistic and achievable. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to complete reports and logs. Must be able to traverse the production facility, including going up and down stairs, and walk or stand for duration of shift. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. One year of supervisory experience preferred.
