Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Job Description

Purdue University Job Summary This position will serve as a working supervisor for an assigned operation, ensuring it operates in accordance with the set standards, including customer service, food quality, and cleanliness. Oversee all operations, including financial, record keeping, hiring, training, quality, customer service, store operating standards, and procedures, forecasting production needs, planning food production, ordering, stocking and merchandizing, inventory, scheduling, health and safety issues, point of sale procedures, opening procedures, closing procedures, and emergency procedures. Participate in day-to-day operations. Maintain effective communication with customers, employees, and supervisors.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma/GED required. Four years of food service experience is required with a minimum of six months' experience in supervision. An equivalent combination of education and experience, and an equivalent combination of culinary education and related food and/or retail experience will be considered. ServSafe certified or ability to obtain certification with university assistance within one year of beginning employment Stable work history with a good attendance record Must have high work standards and productivity, strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and customers Ability to perform basic math functions Ability to lift, carry, stand, walk, reach, and stoop extensively Knowledge of sanitation requirements Ability to meet daily deadlines Teamwork, particularly with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and email What is helpful: Bachelor's degree in HTM, Business Administration or relevant field. Experience with ordering, pars, Cbord and staff training.
