SUPERVISOR
- Twin Oak Industries, Inc. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain and promote a safe working environment as well as safe working procedures. Conduct and or facilitate safety training as needed for area. Maintain and promote quality in all manufacturing activities and products. Develop and maintain a production schedule to support direct customer shipments and other department needs. Promote efficient work practices with an emphasis on "value added" labor. Monitor and update time scheduled expectations as needed for area. Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Promote attributes of "Lean" philosophy with an emphasis on continual improvement. Maintain and improve staff through training. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources. Maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Maintain and promote company policy; Resolve personnel issue by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action. Provide constructive feedback to all associated staff. Follow, monitor and improve (where applicable) shop SOP's and processes, including specific, tested and developed weld procedures. Emphasize and train staff on desired product aesthetics. Communicate with other departments to ensure on-time production. Monitor equipment to ensure operational performance, quickly communicate needed operational repairs and/or safety issues. Develop and maintain conducive and organized staging within the department.
