The PFAB Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of the fabrication processes. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of product quality, and implementing continuous improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. The Manager will lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and excellence, and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's mission and values. Essential Functions of the Job Safety Ensure safe working conditions and practices for all employees. Ensure all areas are neat, clean and organized by conducting housekeeping walks with Fabrication leadership. Implement safety improvements including ergonomic work methods. Participate in all safety investigations within 24 hours of the incident and ensure the completion of corrective actions. Quality Ensure finished goods produced are of the highest quality. Maintain internal customer focus with a zero-loss mindset of defects to the customer. Reduce scrap/rework and maintain them below plant goals. Ensure a 5 Why and root cause analysis is completed for any major quality issue. Assist leads and coordinators in finding root cause of repeat quality issues and implement corrective actions.
