Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Pallet Saw Line Manager to lead our pallet manufacturing saw line. This is a working leadership position . The Saw Line Manager will oversee and direct the saw line team while actively participating in daily production. This individual will be responsible for keeping production moving efficiently, maintaining pallet quality and specifications, ensuring employees follow safety procedures, and helping troubleshoot production or equipment issues. Previous pallet manufacturing experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pallet construction, pallet components, lumber, pallet specifications, saw line operations, and the day-to-day demands of pallet production. A college degree or advanced education is not required . We are looking for someone with hands-on pallet manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, mechanical ability, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily pallet saw line operations. Work directly alongside employees on the production line. Operate and monitor pallet saws and related production equipment. Oversee the cutting and processing of lumber used in pallet manufacturing. Ensure lumber is cut accurately according to pallet specifications. Monitor the quality and dimensions of pallet components. Understand different pallet sizes, designs, and construction requirements. Ensure the correct materials are being used for each pallet specification. Keep production moving efficiently and minimize downtime. Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to saw line employees. Train and assist employees with proper pallet manufacturing procedures. Monitor employee productivity and quality of work. Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE. Identify equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs to management. Assist with basic troubleshooting and equipment adjustments when appropriate. Monitor material flow to and from the saw line. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe production area. Communicate production needs, material issues, quality concerns, and equipment problems to management. Help meet daily and weekly production goals. Ensure finished pallet components meet company quality standards. Assist with other pallet manufacturing duties as needed. Lead by example and maintain a positive, productive work environment. Required Qualifications Previous pallet manufacturing experience is required. Strong understanding of pallet construction and manufacturing processes. Experience working with pallet lumber and pallet components. Experience operating or working around pallet saws and related equipment. Ability to understand and follow pallet specifications and dimensions. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to identify quality issues and production problems. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to communicate effectively with production employees and management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding industrial environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Willingness to work hands-on alongside the production team. Forklift Certified Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull lumber and pallet components. Ability to repeatedly handle wood and materials throughout the workday. Ability to work around saws, conveyors, forklifts, pallet materials, dust, and industrial noise. Ability to safely perform physical production tasks. Must be able to wear required PPE. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who already knows pallet manufacturing and can step into a leadership role without needing to be taught the basics of pallet production. This is not an office-based management position. The Pallet Saw Line Manager will be actively involved in daily pallet production and is expected to lead the team from the floor.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
