Job Description

Structural Steel Erection Foreman Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Erection Foreman to lead field crews on structural steel erection projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with steel erection and the ability to safely and efficiently manage crews in the field. Responsibilities Supervise and lead structural steel erection crews Coordinate daily field activities and manpower Read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans Direct crane, rigging, and steel erection operations Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other trades Monitor jobsite progress and communicate updates to management Maintain quality and ensure proper installation of structural steel Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements Train and mentor crew members as needed Qualifications 3+ years of structural steel erection experience Previous Foreman or Lead experience preferred Strong understanding of structural steel erection, rigging, and crane operations Ability to read structural drawings and erection plans Strong leadership and communication skills OSHA safety knowledge Willingness to work on active construction sites and travel as required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent project work Opportunity for advancement Benefits package PTO Company vehicle Long-term career growth with a stable and respected steel fabricator/erector Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
