Fabrication Shop Pearl River, LA Position Summary The Piping Fabrication Manager leads daily piping and plumbing prefabrication operations, overseeing personnel, materials, workflow, safety, and quality to ensure assemblies meet project drawings, specifications, and delivery requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in plumbing and piping systems and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and spool drawings. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily piping and plumbing fabrication. Assign work, monitor progress, and maintain an efficient production workflow. Review blueprints, specifications, fabrication drawings, and spool drawings. Ensure workmanship and completed assemblies meet quality and project requirements. Coordinate materials, fittings, valves, and equipment to prevent delays. Maintain schedules, communicate production status, and resolve issues. Promote safe work practices and verify assemblies before shipment. Qualifications Experience in plumbing, piping systems, fabrication, or a related field. Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and joining methods. Ability to read blueprints, specifications, fabrication drawings, and spool drawings. Supervisory experience with strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage priorities while maintaining production and quality standards.
