The Kitter Lead ensures all production materials are accurately prepared, staged, and delivered in alignment with the production schedule. This role combines hands-on material handling with team leadership, serving as a primary point of coordination between production, materials, and supervision to drive efficiency, accuracy, and team performance. • Oversee kitting, staging, and material flow based on work orders and schedules
• Ensure parts are accurate, complete, and ready for production
• Track material movement and address shortages or quality issues
• Lead daily work, assign tasks, and balance team workload
• Run huddles, share priorities/updates, and act as point of contact when supervisor is out
• Coach and train team members; support onboarding of new hires
• Give feedback, recognize good performance, and suggest process improvements
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and clear communication
• Ensure safe work practices, proper equipment use, and clean, organized areas (5S) Desired Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, materials handling, or production support
• Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience
• Ability to read work orders, BOMs, and part numbers
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift 50 pound Preferred
• Experience in a production-floor environment
• ERP/MRP system experience (e.g., Infor XA, Paperless, EPDM)
• Forklift/material handling certification EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled #LI-JE1
