A Production Plant Foreman works with the Plant Manager or Supervisor in scheduling the activities of the employees and team leaders. Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Assist in assuring quality and safety of production procedures.

Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Assist in leading daily shop operations and supporting production employees. Help coordinate production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met. Monitor workflow, materials, and inventory to minimize downtime. Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Communicate production priorities and resolve issues as they arise. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes. Assist with training and developing production team members. Step into a leadership role when the Shop Foreman is unavailable. Learn all aspects of the operation in preparation for future advancement into the Foreman position. What We're Looking For Manufacturing or production experience with leadership potential. Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal manufacturing is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills. Someone who enjoys being on the production floor—not behind a desk all day. Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and make sound decisions. A dependable, self-motivated individual who wants to grow with the company. Experience with production scheduling, inventory, ERP systems, or continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial.
