We are looking for a career oriented person who wants to keep things organized and on schedule, and grow a small team with the company as we scale. This role will work closely with management, including when establishing a weekly production schedule and priorities. This role will oversee a small team across first and second shift. Role Summary This role requires prior management experience. The Production Supervisor is responsible for directly managing staff, production and resources to accomplish priorities. Hands-on help with production is expected to be occasional

•mainly in troubleshooting, or covering critical issues

•but your primary job is to supervise, follow up, and keep the system working to accomplish priorities. Key Responsibilities Manage and coach production staff and keep production organized in order to meet the production schedule. Manage and communicate daily production schedule across two shifts to ensure tasks are completed, on time, and to specification. Ensure all production paperwork is correctly filled out, complete, and turned in on time (logs, lot traceability, test records, etc.). Ensure company

2015 procedures are followed (document trainings, stop tag non-conforming product, etc). Verify that required product testing is performed, recorded, and within specification; follow up promptly on any out-of-spec results. Confirm that product is properly labeled, packaged, and staged with accurate information for inventory and shipping. Help maintain accurate inventory of materials, WIP, and finished goods. Review inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement; work with management to implement practical solutions. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and developing production staff. Qualifications Prior experience supervising required (manufacturing preferred). Track record of continuous improvement in previous employments. Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production equipment (you do not need to be a mechanic, but you must understand how the work is done). Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

•you notice when paperwork, labels, or steps are missing. Strong sense of urgency in a production environment and the ability to set and maintain daily priorities. Ability to hold people accountable in a fair, respectful way and follow through consistently along with a strong desire to coach and develop people. Strong communication skills and follow through with both production staff and ownership. Flexibility to work off shifts to address issues and training when needed. The schedule is Monday

•Friday, 7am

•4pm to cover the shift change. Additional hours as needed. This position pays overtime.

Pay:

$80,000.00

•$95,000.00 per year
