Tig Welding Supervisor A premier employer is seeking a Tig Welding Supervisor to lead and direct the welding and grind/polish departments at their Sanford, ME facility. Responsibilities of the Tig Welding Supervisor Hire, train, supervise, coach, and assign work to team of employees; complete performance reviews and give feedback to drive improvement Mentor and coach teams on continuous improvement and Lean methodology Manage day-to-day production operations, fostering a safe, positive work culture Assist and support plant teams with goal-setting and tracking for continuous improvement measures Act as a liaison between departments to inform personnel of communications, decisions, and policies Use KPIs to drive the operation and improve the process Manage unscheduled equipment downtime Assist in managing inventory Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed Direct and coordinate various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g. training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, etc.) Qualifications of the Tig Welding Supervisor Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing experience 5 years of TIG welding and supervisory experience required Basic computer skills including MS Office Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to guide a team to collectively create actionable solutions Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong negotiation skills Experience with Lean Please share your resume in confidence for this direct-hire Tig Welding Supervisor opportunity offering $70K-$85K/year, DOE, and good benefits.
