CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Production Food Supervisor in the York, ME area. We are accepting applications for a 2nd shift Food Production/Manufacturing Supervisor role in York Maine. This is a F/T direct placement to the client. As the Food Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support production teams to achieve daily production goals, productivity targets, and operational objectives. Coach, train, and develop employees to maximize performance, engagement, and career growth opportunities. Monitor production schedules, efficiency metrics, production output, and quality standards to ensure operational success. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety requirements. Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Monitor staffing levels, attendance, labor utilization, and payroll accuracy. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and operations teams to meet customer demand and delivery expectations. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.

Desired Background/Skills:

Five to seven years of experience in food manufacturing required. Minimum of three years of supervisory, leadership, or team management experience. Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills. Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. Ability to operate, or learn to operate, material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
