General Responsibility To oversee the business operations of the main plant and secondary plant ensuring quality, safety, and required output are met.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor will include, but are not limited to, the following: Assisting with the new hire process - completing second interviews, do initial training, and complete plant tours Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives to new hires and veteran staff Provide direction, development and leadership to Production Leads Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all employees Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses Maintain existing equipment; replace, or make adjustments and suggestions to/for plant facilities and equipment when necessary Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices Track and manage re-orders to avoid stock-outs Track stock to minimize stock-outs to maximize output Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel Review established production schedules for all departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible Requirements We are seeking motivated, team-oriented individuals, dedicated to making quality product.
