Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting student well-being as a School Social Worker in a vibrant educational community. This full-time contract position extends to June 2027 and offers an impactful role working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. You will be part of a dedicated team, making a difference in students' lives on a daily basis. As a School Social Worker, you will: Assist with student evaluations. Attend and contribute to IEP meetings. Serve on the crisis response team as needed, offering support during urgent situations. Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Current Michigan School Social Worker Certification required. Valid Michigan Social Worker license (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW). Experience supporting K-12 students in an educational or child-focused setting is highly valued. Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented school environment. This contract role provides competitive compensation, ranging from $43/hr to $50/hr, and is designed for professionals ready to step in as soon as possible. In addition to pay, eligible candidates may access healthcare benefits, as well as housing and meals/incidentals.
