This salaried, direct hire position includes overtime pay and excellent benefits. The role involves leading operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in production. It requires hands-on leadership, employee development, and collaboration with various teams to achieve plant performance goals. #INDP Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Manage daily operations to meet schedules, quality, and cost objectives. Adjust production schedules as needed for customer and business needs. Oversee changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns for efficiency. Participate in resolving breakdowns and bottlenecks. Team Leadership & Development Train and develop employees to enhance performance and engagement. Provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor. Manage timesheets, training records, and disciplinary actions with HR. Assist with staffing, interviews, and coverage for absences. Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure products meet quality standards and support audits. Maintain accurate production and quality reports. Identify and implement improvement opportunities for safety, quality, and cost control. Maintenance & Safety Report equipment issues to management and maintenance teams. Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance as needed. Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations. Promote safe work practices and address unsafe conditions. Collaboration & Communication Coordinate with supervisors, production teams, maintenance, and quality departments. Communicate expectations and provide performance feedback. Perform additional duties to support plant objectives. Requirements 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting. Industry-specific experience preferred. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing demands. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in production reporting systems and Microsoft Office. Quality audit experience preferred, especially
