Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Overview Our manufacturing client in the Holland, MI area is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead 2nd shift operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys developing teams, improving production processes, and ensuring safety, quality, and delivery goals are achieved. The Production Supervisor will oversee a team of 40+ employees, support daily production activities, enforce manufacturing standards, and partner with operations leadership to resolve production challenges and drive continuous improvement. Shift:

2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a team of 40+ production employees to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals. Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed by employees and visitors on the production floor. Monitor daily production performance and ensure manufacturing standards and operating procedures are maintained. Support quality initiatives and ensure products meet established customer and company requirements. Ensure employees properly complete production paperwork, scanning activities, and inventory transactions. Monitor scrap activity and work with teams to identify and resolve production issues. Complete and maintain daily production reporting, including OEE metrics and scrap tracking. Identify and assist with resolving manufacturing issues related to equipment, materials, processes, and personnel. Maintain effective communication between shifts to ensure smooth production handoffs. Train and develop employees on manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures. Ensure training is documented according to company requirements. Review and approve hourly employee timecards and attendance records. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Support Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and ensure compliance across the production floor. Be available for overtime and weekend support as required by the production schedule. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience. 3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience. Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety requirements. Experience leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
