Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Assist in assuring quality and safety of production procedures.

Compensation:
$45+ hourlyResponsibilities:
Lead residential remodeling projects through every phase of construction Manage and direct the field crew's daily production Coordinate trade partners to protect schedule and quality standards Build and maintain project schedules using JobTread Conduct regular jobsite visits to oversee progress, quality, and safety Uphold safety standards and jobsite compliance across all projects Train and mentor carpenters and field staff Serve as the primary field leader driving production execution Act as a professional point of contact for homeowners throughout each project Step into hands-on carpentry work as needed to keep jobs on trackQualifications:
5+ years of residential construction experience, with strong leadership responsibility (remodeling background preferred) Proven track record managing schedules, people, and multiple projects at once Field leadership background (foreman, production manager, or similar) Strong hands-on carpentry skills, both finish and rough framing Comfortable both leading a team and working in the field day to day Clear, effective communication with clients, crews, and trade partners Ability to lead with consistency, accountability, and respect Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Michigan Builder's License preferred, or willingness to obtain one About Company Nelson Builders is a family-owned company that has been in business since 2001.
