PAY:
$24.12 + $2.00 Shift Premium (3rd Shift) Primary position responsibilities: Assists in the smooth operation of the production area to which he/she is assigned. Leads department to achieve daily production goals. Assists the Supervisor and ensure production quotas are met. Does not make quality judgments without a Quality Employee's approval - adhere to all work rules. Ensures Quality Alerts are signed by all employees. Updates Production Boards/Complete Daily Production Sheets Communicates downtime to the Supervisor/Manager Material replenishment, record, and disposition scrap. Schedules changeovers Communicates safety concerns. Manages Edimat Cards. Aides Supervisor with staffing levels. Troubleshoots/resets machine faults. Communicates Quality Issues to the Supervisor/Manager and Quality Technician. Communicates corrective actions for Quality Issues. Completes all required and applicable training by Adient. Specific Duties of the
Team Leader:
Troubleshooting of equipment - Performs Poka-Yoke / First Piece checks. Training of Production team members. Help to hit cycle times, Quality standards & Safety standards. Communicate issues to the Team, Supervisor, and Maintenance effectively. Set up a schedule and ensure the team is building the correct product. Ability to give direction and lead the team. Acts as the first point of contact for team members when production-related problems arise. Assists with the resolution of downtime that occurs during the production shift. Step in online as needed to meet production requirements. Regular attendance returns from breaks, lunch on or ahead of schedule. Self-starter and completes tasks with little or no supervision. Has a thorough understanding of Adient quality standards and procedures.
Education/Experience Required:
Some Technical and Mechanical skills preferred Knowledgeable with Computer programs, for example Excel, Google Docs, preferred High School Diploma or GED, required.
Other:
Engages in safe practices as well as follows safety rules and job rotation Must be willing to report unsafe conditions and reporting unsafe acts Participates on Safety/Ergonomic committees and Safety Kaizen events and Observation feedback Assist the plant in achieving safety goals while achieving and maintaining Safe Workplace and Environmental and Sustainability AMS objectives
