Consistent with our Principles of Conduct and Action, the Production Supervisor provides coordination of production shifts to improve plant performance to world class levels of safety, quality, service, and efficiency. Leadership role driving improvements through standard work practices within shift production team. Assures good housekeeping practices, enforces plant rules and safety regulations, counsels' employees, documents performance issues and applies the provisions of the labor contract. Manages administrative functions during a shift, including time and attendance, production reporting and the completion of production work orders Works closely with Production Planning, Maintenance/Electrical departments, Quality Manager, Production Managers and Continuous Improvement Manager. Assists with coordination of autonomous and preventive maintenance activities Participates in Continuous Improvement events such as Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping and 5S projects.IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Qualifications Education :
Associates degree or equivalent training and experience related to the job. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.Experience:
One year of experience in the application of manufacturing plant activities including familiarity with Lean / WCM principles and practices. One year of experience in supervising and scheduling of manufacturing production related activities. Team player with good interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in corporate and manufacturing environments. #LI-KM1 A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US
