Job Description

Lead CNC Manufacturing Operations Aerostar Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with strong hands-on CNC machining experience to lead daily manufacturing operations in our fast-paced precision machining environment. This is not a desk-only supervisory role. The ideal candidate has direct experience working with CNC machines and understands machining processes, tooling, setups, offsets, troubleshooting, quality requirements, and shop-floor operations. What You'll Do Lead and supervise daily production activities in a CNC machining environment. Schedule work, assign resources, and ensure production targets are achieved. Monitor machine performance, efficiency, downtime, and quality metrics. Troubleshoot machining and production issues to minimize disruptions. Audit machines daily and ensure proper completion of production documentation. Train and mentor CNC operators on work instructions, gage usage, quality standards, and best practices. Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance. Review production reporting and maintain accurate records in ERP systems, including NetSuite. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, setups, tooling, offsets, troubleshooting, or programming exposure) 2-5 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of machining processes, production workflows, and quality requirements Experience leading shop floor personnel ERP experience, preferably NetSuite Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in precision machining or metal manufacturing. Knowledge of quality systems, inspections, first-piece approvals, and process controls. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
