Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee production during our 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). You will be responsible for 3-4 employees while ensuring production goals, quality standards, food safety and employee safety are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside employees, solving problems, and taking ownership over warehouse operations. Must be available to train on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm). Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members on 2nd shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards Maintain food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and enforce company policies and safety procedures Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate maintenance when necessary. Complete production paperwork and shift reports accurately Communicate production issues with 1st shift management Maintain inventory of packaging materials and production supplies during shift Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste. Qualifications 1-3+ years of manufacturing or food production supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate and hold employees accountable Knowledge of GMP's, food safety, HACCP, and sanitation practices Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
