Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Quality:
Quality encompasses all aspects of business. Every employee shares the responsibility to ensure the satisfaction of their internal and external customers by preventing the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product and service. To that end, all employees have an obligation to identify and record any such nonconformity, and initiate solutions. Further, every employee is required to control continued processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until verified solution has been implemented.Environmental Responsibility:
Every aspect of business has an environmental result however small it may be. Every employee shares the responsibility to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the Environmental Management System (EMS). All employees have an obligation to identify and record any such nonconformity, and initiate solutions. All employees are required to control continued processing, delivery, or installation during an EMS nonconformance until a verified solution has been implemented. During the performance of their daily activities, the individual shall represent the interest in the EMS for all employees, the company, the shareholders and the community.Principal Accountabilities:
- Emphasizes the importance of safety.
- Requires employees to practice safety at all times.
- Perpetuates motivation and healthy employee interaction.
- Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
- Establishes a respectable working atmosphere.
- Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
- Monitors production and employee accuracy to confirm quality.
- Coordinates production flow to ensure accuracy of shipping schedule.
- Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
- Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team
- Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
- Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
- Provides disciplinary action and counseling to employees.
- Works to reduce cost.
