This role is vital in ensuring production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily production activities, manage teams on the floor, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity. Your leadership will help foster a safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality requirements Manage and motivate production employees, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to enhance efficiency Interpret and follow batch processes and work instructions accurately to ensure precise processes Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and other equipment necessary for batch processing and material handling Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocol adherence at all times Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, increase throughput, and improve overall workflow Ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas by conducting regular safety audits and promoting a safety-first environment Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing setting with hands-on knowledge of blending or compouding Demonstrated ability to manage production teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with manufacturing management practices, process improvement strategies, and lean manufacturing principles Skilled in using measuring instruments, and operating machinery for chemical blending Experience with factory equipment such as forklifts; forklift certification is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes Knowledge of safety standards in production environments along with experience implementing safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations
Pay:
$61,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
