Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead overnight manufacturing operations (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday - Friday) in a fast-paced production environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused operations while developing employees and driving performance across the shift. The ideal candidate will be a visible leader who thrives on the production floor, enjoys coaching teams, and has a track record of driving results through engagement and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coach hourly production employees during the overnight shift. Communicate daily production goals, priorities, and performance expectations. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. Monitor labor efficiency, downtime, waste, and overall operational performance. Drive employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives. Train, develop, and support production team members. Conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee documentation as needed. Allocate staffing and resources to meet production demands. Participate in safety audits, floor observations, and operational reviews. Complete shift reporting and ensure effective communication between shifts.
Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing leadership experience or demonstrated leadership experience through work, military service, athletics, education and/or campus organizations, or other team-based environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop hourly employees Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Basic computer proficiency
