Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of blow molded products. This role oversees production personnel, drives performance to meet press pace and efficiency targets, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and company standards.What You'll Be Doing:
1. Trains and oversees operators in general BMS operating practices regarding Safety (safe operating of equipment and hand tools), Quality (general blow molding quality requirements), and productivity (general pace and yield requirements). 2. Assigns work to operators and keeps staff stable at each job.This is done to achieve:
Safety- special job specific safety concerns Quality
- improved quality through less operator variation, fewer operators to train on job specific quality requirements and concerns. Productivity (pace / yield / uptime)
- operators can become skilled at specific jobs.
