The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor for the site, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:- Supervising and directing a team of manufacturing engineers
- Supports safely and efficiently manufacturing quality products in their area of responsibility
- Ensuring that engineering deliverables are aligned with the goals and timelines of the plant
- Developing the technical abilities of the operational manufacturing engineering team
- Fostering an environment of continuous improvement Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of combined engineering and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Eight (8) years of combined engineering and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience supervising manufacturing engineers and/or hourly personnel
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience with compounding, coating, slitting and/or converting processes
- Experience effectively using and analyzing process data to drive decisions Work location:
