$32.00- $45.

Medical insurance, Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Company paid Life insurance and Long-term disability, Short-term disability insurance, 401k with company match, Profit sharing, Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity insurance, Paid Time Off Under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager, the Weekend Production Supervisor ensures the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Management responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; creating a respectful work environment; coaching, training, and motivating employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; assessing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; developing staff to meet the current and future needs of the department and the company; challenging others to develop as leaders, while serving as a role model and mentor; hiring staff with management direction.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations. Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, ensuring the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards, and customer specification and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Fill in for production where needed (subassembly, CNC, drilling, cutting, etc.) May design and build custom orders and do repairs. Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company's standards for quality, quantity, and safety. Develop, recommend, and implement departmental policies and procedures, processes, and methods. Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of people, and quality of product. Act as a resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work issues and assist workers in solving work problems. Maintain departmental supplies, tools, and order, as necessary. Ensure the completion of all required production paperwork, records, documentation, such as timecards, quality records, etc. Participate in production and management meetings, as scheduled. Collaborate with other departments on various assignments, as necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Minimum of three years relevant manufacturing experience (machine shop preferred) with 5+ years of supervisory experience or 6+ years' experience at By the Yard. Woodworking or cabinetry experience preferred. Accomplished leader who builds, motivates and is part of a collaborative team. Ability to work autonomously with little management support on weekends. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding production objectives. Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, carrying and moving parts, materials, and products. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
