Job Description

At RES, we're looking for purpose-driven individuals who are passionate about restoration and sustainability, and who want their work to make a lasting environmental impact. Our team members go above and beyond, bringing initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every project. Collaboration is key—we thrive on teamwork, open communication, and diverse perspectives. In a field that constantly changes, we value those who are resilient, adaptable, and resourceful in the face of challenges. If you're intellectually curious, eager to learn, and ready to help restore ecosystems and protect natural resources, you'll find your place here. RES is looking for a Restoration Supervisor II to join our growing team! As a Restoration Supervisor II, you'll lead complex field operations on ecological restoration projects across your region. You'll be responsible for task execution, safety leadership, quality control, and technician development across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, leads with confidence, and brings deep expertise in equipment, restoration practices, and safety standards. Why You'll Love This Job You'll lead hands-on ecological restoration work that directly improves land, water, and wildlife. You'll work with a supportive team that values accountability, safety, and restoration excellence. You'll train and mentor Restoration Technicians and help grow a performance-driven field culture. You'll manage tasks with autonomy and influence schedules, vendors, and site logistics. You'll gain exposure to diverse habitats, tools, and restoration techniques. A day in life You'll begin with a tailgate safety meeting—often leading or coaching others to run it. Then, you'll mobilize crews and equipment across sites, checking on progress and ensuring that field tasks align with planting plans, E&S guidelines, or invasive species standards. You'll monitor quality and safety, identify hazards, and complete safety reports, inspections, and ERP contributions. You may jump in to operate equipment, perform QA/QC on subcontractors, or train techs on equipment maintenance and herbicide handling. Throughout the day, you'll communicate with Restoration Managers and Operations Managers on project timelines, staffing needs, and schedules. You'll review timecards, expense reports, and assist in orienting new team members—all while keeping restoration quality and crew safety as top priorities.
