Job Description

About Us Founded in 1946 by Harry J. Neils, AlumaCraft began with a simple yet powerful vision: to build high-quality aluminum fishing boats using surplus metal and skilled post-war labor. Our very first creation—a 12-foot aluminum rowboat—set the standard for innovation and durability that still guides us today. At AlumaCraft, we're more than boat builders—we're a team grounded in integrity, loyalty, and a strong sense of community. We take pride in crafting reliable, high-performance boats that bring families and friends together for real, hands-on experiences—away from screens and distractions. Our work is driven by a commitment to quality, innovation, and the kind of family-oriented values that have defined us for generations. Whether it's a quiet morning on the lake or a weekend fishing trip, we build boats that help people connect with what truly matters. About the Role You'll be part of a team that takes pride in building high-quality, dependable products with a strong legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Our work reflects the dedication, skill, and values of our people—values like integrity, loyalty, and a passion for creating meaningful experiences on the water. From our hometown in St. Peter to communities across the country, our achievements are a testament to the strength of our team and the quality of what we build together. Responsibilities Administer the beginning of shift meetings for employees in designated areas. Aid in labor allocation and daily planning to meet production goals. Assign work to employees ensuring best outcomes for production schedule delivery, labor efficiency, safety and quality. Manage aspects of new employee onboarding and training in departments and track progress on competencies. Respond and resolve safety and quality concerns and issues through investigations and countermeasure implementation. Work collaboratively with all departments and functions ensuring the use of best practices and consistent improvement. Maintain an orderly and safe department, ensuring team members are participating fully in daily responsibilities. Provide regular constructive and honest feedback on employee performance. Job Requirements Required Three or more years working in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail. Skill in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing. Has emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills with the desire to teach, mentor, and coach. Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to learn and use Microsoft Suite. Preferred One or more years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Familiar with various investigative methods. Our Culture At AlumaCraft, we believe great work starts with great people—and we invest in our team every step of the way. Our culture is built on respect, consistency, and a commitment to rewarding hard work. We offer exclusive lifestyle benefits that grow with your time at the company, including attendance incentives, gas and phone allowances, and even a car allowance for long-term team members. Proudly manufacturing in St. Peter for over 50 years, we take pride in creating a supportive environment where employees can build a lasting career. Join us and become part of a company that values reliability, community, and craftsmanship. AlumaCraft is an Equal Opportunity Employer—Veteran/Disability.
