Quality Supervisor - Manufacturing & ProductionSilgan Dispensing Systems | Grandview, MO Are you a quality-focused leader with a passion for continuous improvement, problem-solving, and developing high-performing teams? Silgan Dispensing Systems is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead quality initiatives and support manufacturing excellence at our Grandview, Missouri facility. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to drive quality improvements, analyze performance data, resolve customer concerns, and strengthen process capability. The Quality Supervisor oversees Quality Inspectors, Quality Lab Technicians, and Team Leads while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements. What You'll Do ✅ Lead and support quality systems across molding, assembly, purchased materials, and finished products ✅ Analyze quality data and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) ✅ Drive continuous improvement projects and process enhancements ✅ Develop and maintain quality procedures and inspection plans ✅ Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities ✅ Review process data and facilitate quality improvement initiatives ✅ Manage calibration programs for testing and inspection equipment ✅ Participate in PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) ✅ Perform statistical analyses including: CpK Studies Gauge R&R Process Capability Analysis ✅ Support new product launches, material qualifications, and equipment validation ✅ Investigate customer complaints and collaborate on resolution efforts ✅ Train, mentor, and supervise quality team members

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical discipline 3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and methodologies Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong organizational and project management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Plastics manufacturing experience Minitab experience Experience with

ISO 9001
