We're recruiting an experienced Assembly Supervisor to join an established manufacturing company in the St. Louis area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing assembly operations, coordinating line setups, supporting production schedules and leading setup, sample and operator personnel. Must Haves - Please Read Before Applying To be considered for this position, you must have: Previous experience supervising or leading employees within a manufacturing/assembly environment Strong hands-on knowledge of assembly processes and production equipment Experience training, coaching and supporting production employees Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with machinery and equipment Experience working with manufacturing documentation such as work orders, blueprints, BOMs, routers or setup instructions Good understanding of manufacturing safety and quality procedures High school diploma or equivalent Please only apply if you meet the essential requirements above. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate assembly personnel Oversee assembly line setup and operation Coordinate production requirements with Production Scheduling Ensure equipment and materials are available for work orders Train, coach and support production employees Monitor employee performance Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed Review blueprints, BOMs, routers and work instructions Monitor assembly operations and quality standards Work with Engineering, Planning and other departments to improve processes Maintain accurate production and setup records Preferred Technical degree or qualification Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills This would suit an Assembly Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Assembly Team Leader or Production Team Leader .
