Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Body Weld Production Supervisor to lead our nightshift manufacturing team in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment. As a Body Weld supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly line operations, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe working environment within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, factory processes, and safety protocols will be instrumental in delivering top-tier products while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate all activities during the nightshift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of assembly personnel, promoting teamwork and high performance. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and productivity. Enforce safety standards in production areas through ongoing training, safety audits, and adherence to safety protocols in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Collaborate with management on staffing needs, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate manufacturing performance. Qualifications 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a factory/manufacturing setting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to streamline operations. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to manufacturing environments including heavy lifting procedures and manual handling protocols. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate production records. Physical capability for manual tasks involving heavy lifting; comfortable working on your feet during long shifts. Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and coordination with other departments.
