Production Manager

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production while developing people, enforcing standards, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who sets clear expectations, holds teams accountable, and leads from the floor. This is not a desk job—this is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of performance, safety, quality, and culture. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Lead and promote a strong safety culture where safety is the first priority Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements Conduct regular safety observations, audits, and incident investigations Drive proactive hazard identification and corrective action Production & Operations Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet customer demand Monitor production performance and adjust staffing, schedules, and resources as needed Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas Leadership & Team Development Supervise, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and production employees Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable to performance standards Address performance issues promptly and fairly Promote teamwork, communication, and engagement across the operation Continuous Improvement & Performance Identify and lead improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and control costs Analyze production data and performance metrics to drive decisions Participate in root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions Support maintenance and reliability efforts to minimize unplanned downtime Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred 3-7 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily operations Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to communicate clearly Experience working in a safety-focused, production-driven environment Preferred Experience Manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial production environment Lean / Continuous Improvement experience Experience managing hourly production teams Knowledge of production metrics such as productivity, downtime, quality, and labor efficiency What We're Looking For We are looking for a leader who: Takes ownership of results Sets and enforces standards Develops people and builds strong teams Solves problems at the root cause Drives performance every day What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement A stable, team-oriented work environment The
