Job Description

Summary To oversee a specific team within the Plant Engineering Department, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment and system. This includes managing Engineering projects, maintaining budgets, and providing leadership to Engineers within the team. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Engineers and Technicians to ensure high performance and professional development
  • Ensure Engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment and systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently and reliably
  • Estimates required hours on work order tasks, total work duration and skills required to perform the task.
  • Conducts field walk-downs to identify and document job requirements
  • Creation of PM's, schedules, calendars, and routes
  • Participates in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all Engineering activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve equipment failures
  • Manage relevant budgets, including forecasting and controlling expenditures
  • Work closely with other departments to support overall plant operations and objectives

Travel Requirements:
Possible training overseas for up to 2 months or as needed. Knowledge and Skills
