Director of Quality — Aerospace & Defense West Point, MS | $140K - $160K Base

+ Bonus

+ Benefits An established aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead its site-wide quality organization. This is a visible leadership opportunity for someone who can manage a certified quality system, develop a strong quality team, work directly with senior leadership, and improve quality performance across manufacturing, suppliers, and customer programs. What You'll Be Doing Lead the site's quality assurance and quality management programs. Own and continually improve the company's quality management system. Manage, train, and develop quality personnel. Establish and report internal and customer-facing quality metrics. Lead the resolution of product, process, supplier, and customer quality concerns. Use data, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve quality and operational performance. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field. Quality-management leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience managing and developing quality employees. Experience leading or maintaining a certified quality management system. Ability to interpret technical documents and resolve complex quality issues. Must qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export-control requirements. Ability to travel occasionally, including possible international travel. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience. AS9100 experience. NADCAP certification or audit experience.
